Part 1: Add a VoiceLine email insert to an email

  1. To access any VoiceLines that you’ve previously recorded and sent using the Chrome extension, click on the VoiceLine icon next to the puzzle piece 🧩. If you don’t see this, simply click on the puzzle piece 🧩 and select VoiceLine for Chrome.

  1. Scroll down to the VoiceLine you want to send via email and press copy email inlet. This copies the VoiceLine to your clipboard.

  1. Paste the copied link into your email service of choice. This creates a visible VoiceLine with the text & audio inserted.

  1. Recipients can see, read and listen to the VoiceLine within the email. They can open a play window for the VoiceLine by clicking on the yellow play button ▶️, or by hovering over it and clicking open VoiceLine.

They can then play it by pressing the yellow play button ▶️ next to the profile picture in the play window.

Part 2: Respond to an email insert

  1. Recipients may respond even if they don’t have a VoiceLine account! They can simply press reply to this VoiceLine and select the record button 🎙️ to begin recording their VoiceLine.

  1. Once they’re happy with their VoiceLine, they can send it to you by pressing the yellow send button. They then have to enter their email address

As soon as they hit send you’ll be notified via email with their reply.
